On the evening of January 30th, a massive fire damaged the majority of the Echo Lake Foods plant in Burlington, WI.

Above all, we are incredibly thankful no one was injured during the fire or aftermath, and we credit our vigilant employees for following safety procedures as they had been trained.

Our humble gratitude goes out to the many firefighters and emergency responders who embodied heroism throughout dangerous, freezing conditions. Thank you to city officials, local businesses, organizations, and area residents who have reached out to us. We are blessed to be part of the Burlington community, and thankful that those neighbors who were evacuated are home safely.

Echo Lake has been a family business since 1941. Some of our employees will be able to transition to our local Yorkville plant. For all others, the Racine County Workforce Development Center has arranged meetings to aid employees this Wednesday, February 6th. Links to information regarding the meetings are below. Please keep our employees and their families in your prayers.

In addition to the Yorkville plant, Echo Lake Foods runs another facility in Owensboro, KY. As we look to rebuild here in Burlington, our main production will now rest in these two places. We thank our supportive customers for their patience as we regroup and plan for the future. We will continue to provide you with quality products and customer care.
